My cat is pregnant she is either 8 or 9 weeks to my guess! I have bought her a large crate instead of a box it has been set up for 2 weeks with blankets and it's all covered so it's dark in there and it's in my bedroom away from the kids .. the past 2 days she has finally paid attention to it and been going into it to sleep I have been able to see the kittens move and kick for a good few days now she's dosnt seem to be producing milk as of yet but her nipples seem a bit dry when I open closet doors and drawers with her around she's trying to jump in them also when I feel her belly the kittens feel a really good size I'm trying to figure out when she is likely to have them I'm worried to go to work or out and leaving her, I have goats milk and feeding syringes at the ready just to be cautious any input would be appreciated [emoji]128556[/emoji]

You feel them kittens move about 2, max 3 weeks before the expected delivery.   There are also other signs, alike the "drop" when she gets visibly smaller.

But none of these sign is exact, so its essentially a waiting game.

Anyways, Im sending our links, you may perhaps have some use of them.   (and yes goat milk is useful, both as kmr, and for extra nourishment both to mom and her humans).

Nice pic of her "in splendid isolation"   .)

Good luck!

Most of these links have been readied by our forumist  Red Top Rescue:

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links regarding birth, delivery and newborns for you here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

She is being a bit of a nightmare lol weather is warm so kids have been playing in garden any chance she gets to escape out the doors or windows and she's off! I had to confine her to my bedroom now and put all her things up there and lock on my door threw out the day then let her down this evening i have noticed every time I go in to check her she is stretching out sort of on her back and clawing at my carpet when I'm rubbing her belly it feels different and harder and I'm sure I can feel two kittens perfectly lined up either side of each other she's still eating haven't seen any discharge she's confusing me she really can't have long left she's big considering she's such a small cat

I bet it feels very nice for her, she is gratious.   These clawing movements are a sort of friendly greeting if she isnt in position to do another friendly gestures.

So I understand all is going nicely forward, these three droplets blood didnt become worse, ?   Good.

Some cats accepts help with washing, some are more touchy, you must play this tune by the ear.    :)

Its ok, and things seems to proceed forward.   They do have some discharges now and then, its common. Both before and after.

Good luck!    :)

The scan wasn't done by the vet it was done by a company who just do scans to confirm pregnancy but she said she couldnt tell me how far along (this was after I had booked it all) annoyed me a bit really

Your cat will have those babies real soon! Try not to worry. All the things you describe are her getting ready for labor & delivery. You have her all nicely set up in your room too. Everything should go well. Please keep us posted!
