So I should stop feeding with syringe? And monitor ? Only had sugar in at the time. Will get honey as soon as shops open .
I think you can and should proceed with the syringe, but only as long she accepts.  You dont need to force into her against her clear will.

If you go to the shops, try and get the real glucose sugar.   In Sweden its often on te bakery shelves - I presume its often used for some cakes and such...   The sports departament may also have it - but try and get some unflavored sort.

The brand name may be Dextrose or Dextropur...Or similiar.     If you dont find it, white caro syrup is often used by rescuers.   I think its essentially glucose syrup in liquid form, but I cant swear on it.

Yes, if she had a loved owner, this may be the reason she is down under the weather, as the english say.
HaHahaha StefanZ StefanZ I believe the term is just "under the weather" lol... Nice to see you are still here giving hope and helping kitties in need :-)... My Felix is still alive and doing well considering, and that's partly down to you and your great advice :-)

M metcalfe1987 I'm glad to here momma and kittens are doing well, as long as you have this forum you will never have to go through any situation alone regarding your cats.

I think its 12, 10 and 12 grammes.     Good raises.

Slightly less raise for the middle one, but better for thr third.

If its so warm as you describe boiling, its a trifle too much.  Do you have any way to bring down the temp?  At least, let the air circulate and flow on them?  Preferably not draugh straigh on them, but so the air is circulating?  Easiest with a fan.

You mentioned that Molly's nest is in a wardrobe It there a window in that room? I noticed your location is not on your profile are you in the states or is that something you don't wish to share? Is there a way you can check the temp in that room?

I'm in East Sussex UK . There in the I can open window slightly . My husbands gone out to get a heat mat but can only find the microwave one. Do I put it under blankets? Also I know it's was too early to weigh kitten but noticed 2 haven't gained from this morning . Is this normal . I weighed them at 10 am . And just weighed them at 4pm

Kittens weighs this morning

Kitten 1 - 4.2oz
Kitten 2- 3.9oz
Kitten 3 - 3.7 oz

Are theses weighs good ?
Weigh in at 4pm
Kitten 1 -4.2
Kitten 2 -4.1
Kitten 3 -3.7

Should I be worried? How often should I be weighing . Mollys doing good wetting lots of wet food just still refusing the fluid in syringe. Called vet and they said not to worry as she's picked up so much and she will get alot of water from her wet food . Still trying with water vet said not to force her as it will stress her

Kittens are just precious! At least they are not losing weight, considering how poorly mom was doing. Her milk supply should pick up now that she is better and eating well. In the beginning it's mostly colostrum anyway. I really think you will begin to see weight gain now. They should ideally double their weights in the first week. :)

Even though the heat mat has a cover it must be placed underneath so they do not get too hot on it. And leave an area where they can wiggle off if they do feel too warm. :)

It is used the first 3 weeks as they cannot regulate their body temperature during this phase. The mat cover is very cute!

As I see it, 1 and 3 isnt gaining, although its not even 12 hours yet, so it doesnt mean anything yet.  One day pause in growing dont need to be especial.

Just continue to observe and take weight measures.

Pardon me for asking, you got yourself a microwave heated warm pad, swell, but how will it help its too warm in the room?   Or Im misunderstanding something?  Can it be used to cooling down, for example by putting in the freezer instead?
