She needs to rest up for labor & delivery. She won't sleep as much once the kittens are born!

@rukia222   It is good if she comfortable and able to sleep because like sarthur says, she won't have nearly as much oportunity once these kittens arrive and will need all her strength for feeding and teaching them the kitten lessons they will need.  Also, I suspect like humans again, that it is when the mother is resting that the kittens will get most of their nutrients from her and will grow the most and prepare for being born.  It must be pretty tiring for her carrying all those kittens around in her belly so if she is comfortable resting it makes sense for her to do so.

Thank you and yes I saw them moving all over today and she is just rolling over again and again she seems happy to be in a home somewhere.

Can't wait to see these little kits, see if any of them are blue / blue and white like their momma.
I wonder if momma will still have that cute Q on her belly afterward as well.

Update on momma she had a drop of blood on our bed today and when she sat down I saw a little bit more on her rump. She's acting fine I also noticed she has scabs on her tests and no fur there either should I be expecting in the next 24 hours or could it be another week or so

I am not sure at all on this! Stefan mentioned in an above post that we wouldn't want "real" blood though. But will mention StefanZ StefanZ he may know what this means. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Lets hope for the best - usually it stays there with just a few drops.

But you must of course observe even more closely - and if necessary be ready to rush in, if  something breaks down, and she gets a bleeding for real.

Good luck!

No more blood just that one drop it was very red but looked stringy in the middle took her temp via underarm and she was right at 100.0 so she's really a bit higher. And she's eating fine still laying around

Cute name - Cita! She is being well cared for and couldn't be in better hands. :hugs: Loads and loads of vibes for the kittens to come this weekend so you can be home and nearby if needed AND for the birthing process to go very smoothly for Cita and her kittens. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Thanks so much. I took her temp at midnight last night it was right at a 100.0 and its 1:30 here and she seems to be acting just fine but I've noticed that she hasn't ate since about 9 pm last night and can't seem to get comfortable keeps rolling from one side to the next. Also she has been laying on my bed for days and I caught her laying on my night stand last night and most of the day maybe because its cooler than our bed. I see babiesoving a lot in there gonna take another temp under her arm again in a few it was 99.9 so I'm assuming 100.0 or a little higher from last night. Thanks again for everyone's help and good vibes
