I have a pregnant cat at my house, Luna, and she is eating grass. I know it's normal for queens to do that when they are pregnant (for the kitten's milk) but will she still do that after pregnancy? And is this an odd question?:yeah::wavey:

I dont think they eat grass for the milk, they aren no goats - although goat milk is healthy for them.   :)

Nay what they eats grass for, it to make it easier to throw up.  For example, if they have problems with hair balls.

I presume they perhaps have use for some vitamines.

So yes, I suspect she will continue to eat grass sometimes and to throw up sometimes.   :)

Thx! She is a sweet cat and my mom and dad know she's gonna be a great mother. My dad is going to take her to the vet to confirm the pregnancy. Is there anything I should worry about?

I haven't heard cats eating glass for milk

There nothing to worry about unless the vet says otherwise, most cats do fine

Its wise to prepare as well you can. But if she is healthy there is no especial need to worry.

Good luck!

Ok. When is the right time to take her inside because she is an outdoor cat. Is there a certain time we need to bring her indoors?

I say take her in a week before she gives birth
I don't know when she got pregnant but she might give birth in about a week because we felt the kittens moving about a week ago

Yeah usually you feel the kittens moving two to three weeks before birth, how did her belly felt? The last day or two they will drop and she will look smaller and won't feel the kittens as clearly
