My cat (Sitter) went into labor over 24 hours ago. She only had one kitten and it was born dead. After the first kitten she hasn't had anymore and she has something sticking out of her private. It's not a kitten or it's sack. She hasn't had anymore kittens and she has been bleeding ever since the first kitten. She hasn't ate anything since she went into labor. Please help I don't know what to do. :(

Sounds like a vet visit, or at least, phone for advice.

How is this sack looking? seems it to contain a kitten whom stuck?

Is it real blood running, or red colored watery discharge?  Much blood or a few droplets??

Anyways, if your answers arent very calming, it sound like a ASAP vet errand.

If you dont have any vets nearby, perhaps some human doc will show mercy and what do can be done.

Good luck!

It's very important to describe in detail some things so we can give you better advice.

My question is same as @StefanZ  asked, regarding bleeding, it is normal for moms to have very mild bleeding right after, then on to just spotting.

If she is bleeding, as in causing the space where her bottom is laying to be pooled with a large amt of blood, then she must see a vet asap.

I wouldn't worry about what's coming out of her, it's likely just excess tissue or even partial sac and the fetus was reabsorbed, but as long as it's coming out, it shouldn't be a problem.

Sometimes when just one baby is born, there were originally more, but for whatever reason her body reabsorbed the fetus (s) so she may have tissue due to this.

Have you offered her canned food? She definitely needs to be drinking water.

Is she acting distressed at all? Panting, feverish, lethargic, or in any pain?
