Do you collect anything ? ( not including cats :lol3: )



I have a small collection of cat fridge magnets I like the ones with quotes on best.
There is no particular reason why I collect them, I just find them funny

I collect corals for my reef tank.

also vintage generation 1 My Little Ponies

I collect chickens or any animal 'on a basket'. They are glass and usually antique. I especially love my cats on a basket of course! I have so many now I am getting some shelves to display them on. I have deer, cats, dogs, roosters, rabbits, and doves. I keep my Chrissy's hairs in a small carnival glass cat one, it looks just like her.

I collect gemstones/crystals - mostly tumbled stones (cheapest) but some geodes and other larger pieces too. Ties in to my jewellery making...They're wonderful to 'dress' a craft stall with. Kind of makes the point the jewellery is gemstone not glass

I collect miniature raku pottery vases/pots.

I also have some that are regular ceramic and glass.  I love using them for very small flower buds.

I used to collect Barbie dolls some years back but gee that was too expensive to keep up.

DH would say I collect everything. 

I have a collection of coins from foreign countries.  They just interest me!  It's neat to see what currency from other countries looks like.  I also have a small collection of cat figurines and somewhere I have a collection of tumbled stones.  I haven't added to that in ages though; I mostly collected them as a kid and teen.  

I used to collect shot glasses. I think I have a couple hundred from diff countries and cities. I also have coins from all the countries I have been too and some I have not.

I used to collect bells from places we visited. I used to collect comic books, specifically the old Fantastic Four comic books. 

Don't know that I collect anything now, although Rick says I collect cook books (he might have a point).

I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but I have a collection of Hello Kitty dolls. The really tiny ones on pieces of thread that you attach to your cell phone.

I started collecting them when I first came to Japan. Every time I'd go somewhere touristy I'd find these dolls in the souvenir shops. They're all dressed up in a way that somehow relates to that area. The one from Kyoto is wearing a Kyoto fabric print kimono, the one from Nagoya is holding a golden dolphin, etc etc. I've even got one dressed as a ninja!

I started buying them because they were the smallest, cheapest souvenir I could get of the area I visited.

My favourite one is the Halloween Kitty, dressed in an orange pumpkin costume.
