I currently feed my cat (Sonic) Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach, he likes it more than what he was on when I got him (about 2 years ago), and I also mix in some Hills Oral Care.
I took him to the vet recently, sadly due to terrible memory I can't remember exactly what they said but they did blood tests and something to do with one of his organs (may have been liver) was too high.
They suggested I change him to Acana cat food (http://www.orijen.co.nz/cat-food/acana-grain-free-cat-food/acana-pacifica-cat-2-5kg-1), however I tried reading the ingredients on both and don't understand half of it, and as this is the food they sell I don't know if they were just saying that or it would genuinely be better for him.
He does have a sensitive stomach and sometimes gets bad dandruff which is one reason I put him on his current Pro Plan diet, he's not much of an eater either, he always has food in his bowl because he just doesn't enjoy food as much as most cats I've seen.

Long story short, does anybody know anything about Acana cat food? And if it would be healthier than the Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach?

Thanks in advance :)

Acana is very good food . It has high quality ingredients ..  As far as it being best for you cat I cannot say . What is the issue with his liver ? Why  did the  vet suggest this particular food ?
