I have a 3 year old..beautiful KittyKat. I also have 2 dogs and as such have a pet door.
Since the weather has warmed' Miss KittyKat as brought in 5...yes, I said 5 snakes, babies, but snakes nonetheless. All but 1 of them was alive.
I know she i a hunter by instinct and I've been told she brings them in as a gift to me. Not to be ungrateful but snakes I don't need.
She is outside as I write this; tonight i am going to put her in my bedroom & close the door. I doubt I'll get much sleep but I don't want a snake inside and not be aware of it.
I can't close pet door because of dogs....any suggestions?:sigh:

You could get one of those pet doors that you have to have a special collar tag to get in and out of-then only give the tags to the dogs.

Thanks for response. Will have to check into the pet door requiring collars.....I hadn't thought about that.
