Baseball season for most teams are starting early April.  Soon as I see baseball, it makes me feel like Summer is here.  I'm a huge baseball fan and my team are the St. Louis Cardinals.  I've been a fan for over 40 years.  It is also what brought my SO and I together.

If you're a baseball fan, who do you root for?

Baseball is the only sport I can stand watching.
I'm secretly hoping my DS will want to play when he gets old enough.

DH makes me watch Track & Field stuff; but baseball is way more interesting as a whole.  It's probably because I grew up with most of the men in my life watching and my cousin playing.  When I lived in another state our church had a team that was part of a league.  Those games were fun too.  It seems around here all the kids play soccer.  I'm just not interested in soccer.  DD has a little interest though.

I don't really have a favorite team. My Grandpa is a Yankees fan and I can recall my cousin with a Yankee's hat and shirt.  I really don't remember my Dad voicing an opinion on his favorite; even though he is watching when there is a game on.

Love the Red Sox!!! DM grew up in Boston, and I have many relatives back there. Believe me, a little slice of heaven on earth is being at Fenway for a Sox game! Every baseball fan should get to see it once.  I root for my hometown Rockies too, but that rarely works out well.

Yes, I  get a lot of that  Sox hate, even out here. Its mostly the "evil empire" (Yankee fans). I swear half of 'em have moved out West. But I'll never forget the magic of '04 though( and 2 more since!).

I am a Braves fan and my hubby is a Cardinals fan.  I actually record games when they are on while I am at work and watch them when I get home. I actually chat with fellow Braves fan on a forum when I am watching the games live.

I never record games but watch live.  I usually will hear the score before I watch a recording and that spoils it for me.  I also chat on the Cardinals discussion forum with other Cards fans.  Does your husband go there also, if so what name does he go by, maybe I'll see him there.
