I once picked up a stray I was SURE was pregnant. . .but she wasn't. Just worms plus a naturally round shape, I guess :tongue2:. It could also be a false pregnancy.
OK, so she can't have gotten pregnant outside or she would have had them already. BUT, she could be pregnant by your male. Males can be fertile as young as 7 or 8 months (I've heard stories of younger males sucessfully mating but most don't have any clue before then) so he could have been sexually mature even if not fully socially mature. And even if she doesn't normally like him, a cat in heat may not be so picky . So if he got her pregnant at the last second (say a week before or after neutering---yes, they can retain some sperm for a while after neutering!), she'd only be about a month along. Or it could have happened any time before that.
I guess all you can do now is wait :dk:. You might start her on kitten food---if she is pregnant, this will give the kittens a good start in life, and if she isn't pregnant it won't hurt her except maybe to put a little weight on.
