Good morning.

What's your favourite way to travel?

By car, bus, train, plane, ferry, motorbike, horse or some other way?

I love long train journeys, especially when you have an overnight trip and can stay in a sleeper carriage. I love sitting by the window and watching the scenery roll by, then being rocked to sleep by the motion of the train.

How about you?

I like being driven. I've never been on a long train, ferry, or horse ride, but I like having the protection of a car (like from the elements) while being able to open the window and feel the wind so I don't have to be stuck in a stuffy cabin or anything. If I'm not the one driving, I can nap, and the option of going alone or with company is something I like too.

I love to drive.  If I could, it would be my dream to drive cross-country and take in all the scenery.
Funny though, I do NOT like to be a passenger in a car!

I hate traveling!  I really do.  I want to snap my fingers and be at my destination.  Flying has become very hard on my ears.  Actually any traveling that involves a lot of elevation changes is.  My Mom wants to do a big family trip to Disney in a few years and I'm dreading flying; but it would take several days to drive there.

We usually drive for all of our trips and that is the method I hate least.
My kids are getting easier to drive with; thanks to the DVD player.
But I am prone to motion sickness so I put my SeaBandz on in the driveway and don't take them off until we are at our destination for a while.  Otherwise I need Dramamine to get through it.  And that knocks me out.  DH does almost all of our driving on these trips; as long as he is with me.  I've done a few on my own too though; I just don't enjoy it very much.

Definitely car. I don't fly at all. I usually do most of the driving when we're on vacation.

I don't like flying and won't ever fly again. I don't mind riding in a car as long as someone else is driving. I probably won't travel anymore but I would not mind trying a train. It looks like fun.

I really don't enjoy car travel.  We don't have trains around here so I haven't traveled by train for a long time.  I used to love it, though, when I lived in Spain.  It was always interesting starting up a conversation with someone.  Once I met a German woman--I taught her some rudimentary Spanish phrases and she taught me to count to ten in German.  Fun.

I used to love to fly though with all the security issues now, it's not as fun as it used to be.  Still--I'd rather fly than drive to a destination.

It does not matter much as long as I have the wheel, boat is nice, but when I was still allowed to drive car, I really did like to drive with old Pontiac, highway ship :D

These days I travel mostly with bicycle and now with cheap scooter, I have always got dizzy with motorbike and I can feel that dizzyness coming when riding a scooter, but I ride slowly and it is not much of the issue.

One dream I had, which I can't no longer chase, is to drive around the world with camper car thing, just think about all the excotic fresh spices you could get and cook all kinds of tastes from local markets around the globe, where ever you happen to be, that would of been incredible cool, but expensive and maybe today's world it would not be as fun as in time of old world. Too much politics and security stuff messing everything up.

I like travelling. I don't drive. I'm planning a visit to the UK at the end of the year. First to Birmingham for the supreme cat show and then onto Edinburgh, Scotland by train which be ill take a good few hours. I'm looking forward to that.
