I know that we all love to see loving pics of our rescues as they become acclimated with us.  I don't know if there is a page for us to post pics of our pride and joys.  But post pics and flaunt your accomplishments!  Show new members it can be done!  With love, and patience, these rescued kitties have been through hell and back while being on the outside.  Now they are in Cat Paradise with our care!

p.s.  it also is a way when you're feeling down, come to this page to pick your spirits up!

This is Lola. She used to be a stray cat but when she showed up with an injury, I knew I couldn't leave her on the street. She's very friendly and as a result she was abused by some people on the street, including kids :( She's been with me since October 2014, and I've tried finding her a home but no luck. Now I'm so used to her that I can't be without her. She's my love.

This is Marvin.  He was a stray/feral who lived on my property for about 6 months.  Yet he had been living around my property for almost 2 years.  I brought him into my home in May of 2013.  He is a complete joy and the sweetest boy.  It took lots and lots of work.  He had to live in a room by himself for one year, but after that, he turned a corner and all is well.

This is Smokey. She came to us almost a year and a half ago. She was born under one of my previous coworker's parents' deck. Her momma is a feral who has outsmarted every TNR attempt they've made so far, so they adopt out the little ones once they appear to be weaned. I'm very lucky to have my little fluff ball. She's still a bit skittish, but absolutely adores us and is the sweetest, most loving companion I ever could have asked for.

Thank you! I call her my rescue baby. She helps me with my bipolar. Was it Charlie Brown that said "Happiness is a warm puppy"? For me, it's a warm kitty.

I'd end up in the same boat if I took in a stray. I just want to cuddle with every cat I see...

I'm getting to be the definition of a cat lady, but I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing

Nice idea for a thread @Jacques T

This is Heidi, a feral kitten from the colony I care for. She would come and sit inside the window if we left food for her, but it took a long time before she trusted us enough to come in the house.

This is her now. She'll be 2 years old next month.

She's chubby and spoilt and she likes to use the other cats as cushions. She's definitely made herself at home.

This is great!!! It gives me encouragement. I have 3 outdoor, spayed, ferals. They are a mother and two 3 year old cats. She is also the mother to three of my indoor cats. She is getting older and did not leave her heated house last winter except to eat. Her and one of her daughters I think we could adjust to house life. The other daughter is more feral. I do not want to take two in the house and leave one by herself. I want all of them together. They all still live as a family and take care of each other. They are all okay with me and my husband. If anyone was to come over I know they would probably never be social which I am fine with.

This is Piwacket. I call him Pi or Pi-Pi. He is a stray/semi-feral who came into my yard in July of 2014. I started feeding him outside and gradually brought him into my garage. As winter approached he began sleeping in bedding with heat disks in a vestibule between my kitchen and garage. Finally, shortly after Christmas he came into my home. I allowed him out every morning until the snows and extreme cold started in January. He has now been inside since late January and I plan to keep him an inside cat. IF I can train him to wear a kitty harness we will take walks in my yard. If he won't wear the harness he'll have to be happy on my glassed and screened in sun porch.

The first photo is when he first started taking food in my yard last summer. The second is Pi playing with my lovely Shih Tzu, Happy. The last photo was taken this morning and shows him waking up in my bed lying on my tummy. Feral cat? I think not! LOL!

This is my bell. He was feral that lived on my deck in a heated house for 8 years. He finally came in this winter. He loves being in the house.
