Are there any sites that sell single cans to Canada without horrendous shipping costs? I really want to try tiki cat and/or hounds and gates but they don't sell them here in Canada. And of course, I don't want to buy a pack only to see my cat flat out refuse it all and watch my money fly away in the wind. Haha!

I have come across a post that recommended websites in their signature that sold single cans and now I can't find it and don't remember the URLs anymore but again, shipping was a lot to Canada.

Thank you so much!

oh Canada~
Where in Canada do you live?

Stores like PJ's Pets, Global Pet Foods, and some of the smaller "boutique" type stores carry Tiki! Shipping is absolutely atrocious everywhere I look too. Since many use Canada Post, even if they send a single can of food, their base price is something like $6 shipping.

I live in Vancouver. Unfortunately, PJ's pets closed/changed names in my area. Although... It looks exactly the same. I think I'll go there and take a look and also search up a bunch of boutique pet stores like you said. I hadn't thought of looking locally. Silly me.

I saw on Amazon that they have tiki cat cans for prime shipping but only the variety pack was eligible. Otherwise, like you said, shipping is just horrible. The US amazon does have more options with prime shipping though and I can ship it to a parcel service across the border. That was my initial plan if my cat liked the tiki.

ETA: for the single can services, even shipping to the border was expensive. I guess since it's kind of too close to Canada and is like an island. I ship to Point Roberts. And it's not worth it to pay $3.75 CAD to hold the parcel which would be one can!

Could a store order Tiki for you? I'm not sure about Canada but US independents are great about ordering things... though there are so many kinds of TIki Gourmet Carnivore that I ordered a variety pack online. The only downside to the variety pack for me was that it includes fish, which we don't generally feed. FWIW, the cats' rotation now includes three of Tiki's luau foods (the ones with chicken) and most of the non-fish Gourmet Carnivore foods. They're expensive but our pickier cat (not the snowshoe!) really loves them, including one that's pretty liquidy but with big chunks of meat and liver. It's also a bonus that some of the Gourmet Carnivore foods seem to really fill up Edwina, the ever-hungry snowshoe.

Do you have a "Pet Culture" in Van? I'm on the island, and we have a Pet Culture which carries some brands other stores don't, like Tiki.

I would also check the local, "private" businesses too!

It's good to hear that the hungry snowshoe fills up on Tiki! I know I have the same problem
I might go and ask a few stores if they will order Tiki (to compare prices) and also if they have Gourmet Carnivore.

Yes! I kept thinking they wouldn't have it since Tisol and Bosley's didn't and they went through a name change. I should've checked there sooner. I went there last night and they had it! They ran out of non-fish flavoured cans though so I'll have to wait a few weeks before I can let my cat try it out. Phew! I wonder why only Pet Culture carries Tiki... :( I guess it must be the shipping cost dilemma.

I can never find the non-fish flavored ones!! Our Pet Culture only seems to carry the fish ones. I really like Weruva so I normally stick with that, as it's a bigger part of my cat's diet/rotation.

Just ask if you have questions about any of the non-fish Tiki foods... we feed our cats most of them!

I sent email to their websites under contact us and explained and asked for sample cans and they sent them to me
