Hello, I am new here but I have an important question. We just took in a 2 year old femmale from a friend of ours. She has kiitens eight weeks ago and was down to nursing them once a day.
her problem is that she has a milk duct that is blocked. Our friend said that she was applying warm cloths to the duct and massaging it every night and that is is significantly smaller than it had been. I was wonderingif anyone knew of anything else that we could do besides taking her to the vet (which we will do next month to get her spayed).

TIA
Katy

The warm compresses need to be done every 3 to 4 hours. There's not much else you can do. You need to watch carefully for any signs of infection like green or yellow discharge. If it gets infected, she needs to see the vet before she is due to be spayed.
