So my naughty boy Munchie gets on my counters and this morning I noticed a white powder all over by my hall door, couldn't figure out what it was until I went into the kitchen to say goodbye to my hubby as he left for work, then I noticed the snack sized ziploc of crushed eggshells that I use for the ground raw I feed the kitties is missing (working on weaning to chunks and getting them on bones)......he had grabbed it off the toaster and I found it by the hall door after further investigation.  Not sure who got it and if they actually ate any of it, but what do I need to watch for, constipation?  Anything else?  Guess that's going in a glass jar now.  It's been on my toaster for 2 weeks now and he hasn't touched it, he is beyond naughty......can't tell he has 2 bad hips, bad knees and one bad front leg.....thanks to mega supplements and pain meds.  Hubby told me to stop all meds/supplements so he goes back to not being naughty.

Well, my cat surprised me a few days ago by eating a BIG rib of venison. I thought she could not eat that big bones. In 10 minutes she ate bones for 5 days.......     I´ve been monitoring the litter box, and yesterday the poop was as white as the box (and very crumbly!)...... no constipation. But you could feed a bit more fat, I gave her extra wheat germ oil (which she loves!) to make it a bit easier for her intestines to handle all that bone. She has not been fed bones for a few days now, today is the first day after the "bone incident".....

I don´t think you have to worry, but be more aware of where that powdered eggshell is stored...... cats are sneaky!
