Tomorrow is the litter's 6 week birthday.  Everyone is doing GREAT.  Our little runt, Ivy, who some of you helped talk me through with bottle feeding and what to watch for, is doing amazing as well.  She's still learning a little slowly, compared to her siblings, but she's learning nonetheless, and catching up!

I've been taking pictures of them at LEAST once a week to record their growth.  Personally, I'm a little sad when I adopt a pet and don't have baby pictures of them, so I'm making sure I do that for this litter.

First up, Ivy, the runt!  You can't tell really, but her eyes are starting to change.

Next is Harley!  Harley's eye change is more noticable.

And last but not least, Schmidt!  He looks grumpy because I accidentally woke him up, lol.

More pictures here.

Added bonus:  I was attacked during this little photoshoot.

Bucky, Captain, and Schmidt.  We banked on them being boys, so we went with Captain America names for all 3.  But, two ended up being girls so we used Batman names for them.  Schmidt stayed as Schmidt, because we couldn't agree on a good name from Batman, lol.

Beautiful kittens.

I like the idea of having baby pictures to pass on to their new families. I made up little albums for all the foster kittens I re-homed, with pictures of their siblings and parents whenever possible. It's nice to know where your new kittens got their looks from.

OMG! Those names are amazing!

A cat (which I named Grin) had 5-6 babies under my couch, so I'm thinking of adopting one of her babies as well, I was thinking of naming a new kitten Harley, Jack (Because of Nightmare before Christmas or it could be because of the Joker's real (not official tho') name) or something Comics / Manga related depending on which I decide to keep.

My husband and I always go for comic book names.

My first cat was Orion (from Men in Black) which DOES count! because MIB was a comic before a movie.

Then we had our dog, Grayson, named from Dick Grayson, Batman's first Robin.

We currently have Lt. Col. James Rupert Rhodes (Rhodey for short) from Iron Man.

And now, of course, Harley and Ivy also from Batman, and Schmidt from Captain America (Red Skull's real name is Johann Shmidt in the comics).

You should totally do it.  We considered changing Schmidt's name to Jack, to be Joker, but we didn't feel like it clicked with him, and couldn't figure out any other names.  Lol.

During this holiday weekend momma cat moved the 4 kitties out so I got to interact with them. I gave them temporary names since they are, as of today, only 24 days old and they may out personality or out grow them.

I might name one Harley if she turns out to be a girl. One of them's a toughie which my boyfriend loved and wants to take home to live with him... I just thought to suggest that he name him James Howlett, Logan or Wolvie! He loves that character. As for the other 2, I named 1 "Binx", so the name might stick and the last one I named "Little Grin" since she looks just like mom.

Those are amazing names! Real creative! I never thought to name them in a theme. I always look at the personality and whatever comes to mind and I think fits is how I name them: Eenie Amigo, Henry D. Sponge (or Hendrick if we're feeling fancy), Grumitos III, Booffy, Sulffy and Amanda McGuinea, Mitzy Valentine and Gato Grin.

The little ones are Gato Grey, Little Grin, Binx and Colita (since he / she looks just like Little Grin but was born with a broken (?) tail)

Did you consider the Penguin's name? Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot; or the Ridler's? Edward Nigma (Nygma) or Mr. Freeze? (Quote: Dr. Victor Fries (Pronounced "freeze")). Just throwing villain names out there since Harley and Ivy are "villains".

PS: The babies are super cute! Congratulations

Arg, those are such good names!  I'm upset now that I didn't think of them, LOL.  Harley's name actually fits her REALLY well, and she actually grew into it.  She is a little terror and gets into all kinds of trouble.

Aww! Mine are just starting to somewhat show their personalities.

Grey has the most "developed" personality so far, seems quite the bully since he steps over his siblings, slaps their faces with his paw and pushes them to the side with his head during breastfreeding. He hates, hates.... hates  being picked up. He struggles, cries and brings out his claws.
I'll keep handling him since he should get used to it.

Little Green seems quite like her mom, quiet and sweet, although she doesn't like to be pick up a for long periods of time. She was the first one to get out of the nest to explore.

Binx is quiet as well and also doesn't like to be pick up a for long periods of time.

Colita's ears always perk up when she hears me and turns her head towards the sound. I haven't been able to experiment to see if it's just my or just voices. She does like to be picked up and is not as fussy as the others. I think she's the runt.

I'm still waiting a couple of weeks more before I "officially" name them.

Congratz on picture of the week by the way!
