I have tried every brand of wet food out there and nothing . Finally found something they love ..

It is not what I prefer to feed them but they are each eating a full 6 oz of wet food daily ..

I am very happy about that ..

I am not going to try other brands or try to find something " better " because when I do they stop eating ..

They have been eating great for a few days now and no vomiting or digestive issues . A big plus ..

Oh , the food :

Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys Chicken Primavera .

Fancy Feast Morning Medleys Chicken in Egg Sauce .

Fancy Feast Grilled Chicken & Cheese .

Eating well and no digestive issues or anything afterward is a pretty big plus when it comes to types of cat food.  I guess your cats' bellies have spoken.
Happy cat bellies make for happy human carers in my experience.  Good for you checking everything out and coming to a conclusion which your cats are happy with.  Long may this continue.

They knew what they liked all along
now they will be happy well fed kitties. Good for you for trying all those different kinds of foods. Now lets hope they continue to love this food and have no tummy issues.

That's great news. Buying something "better" only to have it go in the trash wouldn't help anyone. They are eating, happy and healthy and that is what matters.

YAY for kitties!!  My kitty loved the FF Beef flavored and I was trying to find a better one to feed her.  Had finally found a couple that she liked and would occasionally switch between the two and was in the process of trying to go to a better one.  Well, that was up until yesterday when I had to get her into the vet for a UTI and now it's completely different food that's specifically for that.

Was your kitty eating dry food or both and what brand? How old is your kitty? What food did Vet recommend?
Both.  She was having 4Health for the dry food and for moist it was Fancy Feast Beef and Nature's Variety Instinct Beef.  I was trying to get mainly to having the NVI, but she was LOVING the FF so I was rotating between the two.  She started turning her nose to the 4Health Most food that was beef and Chicken flavored, so that was just sitting on the shelf.  I've donated the bag and all cans to the local humane society in my town.  Now she's on the Hills Prescription kind starting with the S/D in the dry going to the C/D when that bag is done and have been feeding her the moist that was given and having to give her her medicine, which she's not happy about taking and they want to take the whole 20mg bottle and given at 0.8 a day until gone.UGH!

Did she eat more dry or moist? How old is she?

Both, if that makes sense.    I would split a can up into smaller meals and fed that twice a day.  A small can I'd split half and the bigger can (the 5oz) would be split into quarters and again, it would be fed twice daily.   Sometimes she wouldn't eat all of the moist and there would be a teaspoon or so left, if that.  A lot of the times it seems she'd lick the plate almost clean of it.  For the dry, would give at least a cup out of the dry for her to nibble on and that would usually last her a couple of days.  Now the vet says to give her a quarter cup in the morning and at night but she doesn't eat that much between the times to need to give another quarter cup, so I don't give anything if she hasn't eaten much out of it.  She's 6 years old and will be 7 in August.

A couple of things that had noticed that she was licking her back side quite a bit.  Also, she'd try to pee, but wouldn't go much and would try to go quite often.  Also saw some drops of blood by the litter box.  The other day had washed some of her bedding (forgot one of the blankets she lays on), but washed her two beds and one of the blankets, and when put one of the beds into a usual spot, she peed twice on it and she's NEVER done anything like that before in the time I've had her, which have had her going on 3 years that started this past October.  I am relearning a lot of things since not having a cat in about 26 years since getting her.  Never had any cat have something like this or anything else major happen except a small injury here or there.

My cats are 5 and seven, but I feed only watered down canned food, always worried about UTIs. Thanks for the info!
You're welcome!  I was surprised when I switched cold turkey on her on the dry without mixing it with the other food and she pretty much took right to it.  She's always had this thing of trying to cover her food since I've had her, so she has tried to cover it up quite a few times!

Thanks . My cats are really fickle when it comes to eating wet food ..  It is on again off with them so we always have their favorite kibble ..  I did get them to eat the FF Classics again .  If they eat at least one can a day I am happy with that ..

You're welcome! I'd love to still give her the FF but now with what she's going through with the UTI, am not sure if I should. Will be going in to get her more of what I was given and ask if she could still have that from time to time. I was surprised again today that she took the one stew type. Won't complain one bit as she took it and it's something she's never had before,.

Hopefully the vet food will work for her and she feels better soon .  I guess we have to do whatever works . My cats keep me on my toes but they are worth it ..

I hope it does as well!  Know it's still early in her having it, but am hopeful with it! It had been so long (about 26 years) since I had a cat before getting her so have been relearning things again with having her!  Plus with the ones I had before, had only had to take one in after it was in a fight, if I remember right, and had a wound.   My mom was hesitant at first about getting her, but we both love her to bits and wouldn't change it at all!!    So with her having this, I wasn't totally sure what it was and had posted on facebook for thoughts and ideas, plus I had called an emergency vet place in the area I'm at, so they gave me an idea on what it was.  I knew it had to be serious, but wanted to make sure.  She is TOTALLY worth it and love her to bits!
