Good morning and Happy Friday!   (And Happy Spring, too! )

I love the new Android commercial on TV, where the animals are together and Roger Miller's song is in the background. "Robin Hood and Little John walkin' through the forest....". That orangutan is adorable   and the way he just flops down backward makes me smile every time.

What's your favorite television commercial? Do you have one? 

I haven't had cable (Dish Network actually) since 8/2013 so that's the last time I saw a commercial. I don't miss them. 

We rarely watch TV, so aren't too familiar with the current commercials. I like the Snickers "diva" ones with Arethra Franklin and Joan Collins.

I love the Geico commercials.

There is a man on a ladder swatting at a hornets nest.

Its an old one made me LOL.

I never pay much attention to commercials.  I've developed a talent for tuning them out completely.

However (*coughs*) there is one out now which I just DIE over.  It's the Suburu ad (which I had to look up to remember which car manufacturer it even was) with the young boy behind the wheel of the car experiencing all kinds of auto related annoyances.  Every time he gets to the part where he says "You're killing me!!!" - I laugh out loud.  Like, fall apart loud 

The commercials that have stuck with me are the older ones.  Coke had a lot of them, the ones from the hippie era with the theme song I want to teach the world to sing, the one with the pro football player throwing his jersey to a boy who gave him a Coke and their Christmas commercials.  

I also like the Clydesdale commercials that come out for the Super Bowl.

I like the old Coke commercials from back in the day also. The football player was Mean Joe Greene

I like the Del Monte green beans commercial. They only seem to show it around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. I like the catching little tune they sing in the commercial.  

Gosh I don't know! We haven't had cable in a few years. I get the song stuck in my head from the Subaru commercial where the couple is hiking and forgot where they parked so the guy keeps pushing the remote and it echoes. :lol3: The look on the woman's face reminds me of myself when DH makes me go on a long hot hike. I like hiking; just not sweating!

I haven't watched TV for a long time, but one ad that sticks in my head is the Guinness White Horses Surfer advert.

It's an old one, but it still gives me goosebumps.

I like that one also with the Roger Miller song in the background.  And the snickers ones in general.  Other than that, I can't really think of anything.  Oh, the Geico one where they are on the Maury show, I thought that was hilarious.

There is a somewhat long list! With a lot of animal ones, of course. That Roger Miller song with the mixed friends animals that was mentioned is included. I even remember watching the Robin Hood Disney movie as a kid, so it also brought back memories.

Some others that I will quickly mention - the dog food commercial with the widower and his Westie. Makes.me.cry.every.time. Yet lovely!


An older English language lessons commercial "We are sinking!" "Uh...What are you sinking about?"

The Gieco commercials with the "Everybody knows that" "Yeah well did you know..." (History referenced ones were my fave)

A current one is the "Yah Yah Yah" German car commercial.
