So it's official, we've signed the papers, and Little Helen is ours. She's got her collar, and I've added her into my signature. Now for her pics for those who don't yet know her

This is why I'd be afraid to foster, I'm afraid I'd be the biggest foster failure ever.

Congratulations!  Looks like Helen has integrated beautifully.

:yeah: I'd end up with 10 cats! (not that there's anything wrong with 10 cats...) :lol3:

Congrats to Helen for finding such a wonderful home!

I'm so glad you decided to keep her. I remember seeing other pictures of her when you first started fostering. She's way too pretty to give up.

Congratulations on your new cat.

Congrats on your new addition, she's very cute.  I've always loved black and white kits.  As others said, I could never foster because I would never be able to give them up.  I'm happy you kept her.

Oh - I thought you made that decision to keep her from the get go! Congratulations! I just love the way the black coloring goes down her nose! Looks like the orange and white has that same pattern down his nose also - they look like twins from another mother! The picture of Helen in the box is too adorable!

She is so cute and looks very affectionate.  If I were to foster I would have a one time failure because I would keep  the kitty and that would be the end of fostering.

No, I was adamant that she was temporary. Only because she'd not be adoptable if she couldn't be socialized, was I willing to foster her in the first place. I began thinking of keeping her around the 2month mark, when I walked in on her and Matt in the carrier, or watched bouts of mutual grooming between her and Midnight. And the day I took her to the vet and Matt sat on the carrier told me in no uncertain terms that he'd not handle her leaving well..................and when Matt gets depressed, Matt gets ill.....He left me no choice in the matter.

She's adorable! What a little sweetie! Congratulations, Miss Helen, on your forever home.

Kudos, Matt's Mom! You're a foster-winner in my book.

If it's any consolation, our Tabby was supposed to be here on a temporary basis only. As was Muffin. Tabby has been here almost four years now and Muffin about 2-1/2 years. They're our girls.
