Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone :clover:

So in honour of the day....

What do you love most about Ireland?

For me, the music and the history are pretty high up there.

(And Irish Wolfhounds :lol2:)

Even though I was stationed in Germany for 5 years I never made it to Ireland.  I love the traditional music and dance though that is what I have seen and heard here in the U.S.  I don't know how traditional it really is.  I know the man who used to be the lead dancer in Lord of the Dance wasn't from Ireland even though he like to lead people to believe that he was.  I don't know if he ever flat out said he was from Ireland.

The beautiful GREEN that is in the fields and hills, dotted with sheep!
Exactly.  I haven't been there for 25 years but I remember it was so GREEN and beautiful.  I guess there's a reason they call it the Emerald Isle!

I've only been to Ireland once, a few years back and went to the Wicklow Hills in The Republic of Ireland.  The area was just a few miles outside Dublin and the countryside was very beautiful.  Dublin was great too but the hills were my favourite part of the trip.

I have Irish blood running through my veins....well a little bit anyway.

I love the music. I hope one day to visit.

I love the landscape photos I've seen, its so beautiful - I'd love to visit Ireland some day. I had a chance a few years ago and should have jumped on it with a friend of mine who went, but maybe some day in the future I'll be able to :)

When I think of leprechauns I always think of the old Lucky Charms commercials.  Always hated that cereal even as a child but I remember the commercials.

I never liked that cereal either, but the commercials were cute.... "magically delicious" LOL
