My kitten has orange feces and possibly dark urine?

My kitten is about 4-5 months old. He was a rescue. I've been noticing that for the last couple weeks, his feces have been orange in color. I read that it may be because of too much bile, but what does that mean? Also, I was scooping the litter and saw a big pile of soft orange stuff. I use clumping litter, so I'm not sure if it was urine, but the amount seemed too large to be feces. I've got two cats who eat the same food, and only the kitten has this discoloration. Does anyone have any idea what this could mean? I'm going to call the vet tomorrow, but I feel any. Also, he hasn't had his vaccinations yet. I plan on getting them asap at the vet.
If anyone has any ideas or advice it would be much appreciated.

Oh and he seems healthy otherwise. A few weeks ago he was given an injection for ear mites. His fur is soft and shiny. He has plenty of energy and plays a lot. He sleeps normally. He eats well and drinks well. He doesn't seem to have any pain.

do you know what the medication was?
I'm not sure. The vet didn't say, but I'm guessing it was ivermectin. After a couple weeks, it wasn't helping, so I gave him a dose of revolution. This was about a week ago.

But a few days before the injection, he had diarrhea that was the same orange color. The diarrhea cleared up after a few days and now he has slightly soft, formed bowel movements of the same orange hue.

If stool is still orange when it is eliminated, it could mean that it is not being exposed to, or absorbing enough, bile salt.  Bile is yellowish green, and when it reacts with enzymes in the bowel, it turns stool brown.
What does that mean? Is it bad? And is there anything I can do?

well, it could be due to diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, or a lack of bile. A blockage in the bile ducts can be caused by gallstones, inflammation, cysts or tumors.
I hope my baby is going to be okay!

Not sure if this is the same thing.  I had a litter of kittens who had yellow, smelly diarrhea & it was coccidia.  This does not show up in the normal fecal.

What kind of food is your kitten eating?  Sometimes if they eat food that has dyes in it, their poop can have discoloration in it from the dyes.
