Hi I know a cat that comes and goes around
she is black and white she is extremely scared of humans like
she would stay in the garden for 20 seconds before she runs
away from me I feed a cat who isnt myn if you see meyother thread
its called cat flea and tick collor dangerous she is my neighbour cat
but the dont keep her inside and I fed her her and the stray cat
seem to know each other. The stray cat is extremely scared when I used
to put the cat food outside for the other cat she used to sometimes
come and eat it sooo fast
My question after talking soooo muchn is that what can I do about this
cat she is soo scared.

Thank you so much

Whether or not this cat was born wild, she is feral now.  The kindest thing you can do is leave food & water for her at the same time and place each day.  Close to dusk is a good time because it's before the extremely nocturnal animals like possums and raccoons will be roaming, yet it's approaching cats' natural hunting time.  A feral cat is truly a wilkd animal, and they are spooky because they are vulnerable.  See if you can figure out a relatively safe place to put her food, an elevated platform is always good, such as a low tree branch with a plank attached or something like that.  If there are ants, you can create a "moat" by using a flatter dish like a pie plate, putting water in it, then putting a food owl inside that.  It allows the cat to eat while preventing ants from eating the food.  If you continue to feed her and see her, eventually you may be able to trap her, get her spayed and vaccinated, and then return her to the same place and contiue to feed her.  If not, at least you are providing her with regular food and water and a safe place to eat.

Agree with RedTopRescue.  I want to stress, spaying / neutering is a very good help for such ferales.  A big improvement in their life.  So please, plan on that.  You dont need to do it today nor even tomorrow, but begin and plan for it.   Look up TNR - trap, neuter, return.

I have found when feeding ferals, they only eat SO much and quit, they don't over eat like dogs. So simply put out twice the amount of food, you were planning on feeding both anyway, and watch to make sure they both have enough. Good luck!

Also, if this cat is friends with the other, they won't mind sharing. I have a friend with an indoor/outdoor cat, who noticed a stranger cat coming in through his cat door and eating his cat's food. Then one day he found out that his cat was using the cat door at a neighbor's house to get at the other cat's food. Just like kids trading sandwiches at school.

Yeah, that's what my friend and his neighbor thought, too. Once they figured it out, that is. Before that they were simply annoyed at the strange cats who were "stealing" food.
