I'm Colleen and I am new to the site. very pleased with what I've seen. I'm still trying to get used to how to use this site. My husband and I got gizmo from a shelter 3 years ago. He is our child. I used to have chronic back pain and knew from the get go that he was a healing cat. it freaked me out at first because we have never owned cats before. He stole her heart from day one. I was looking at pictures from the shelter and when I saw his I started crying. I looked at other cats no response I looked at him again and started crying again. I knew he was meant to be with me. I used to have chronic back pain and when we first got him he would walk on my back and then lay on it then walk on my back and lay on it. He did this for the first 3 months. My back pain is gone. Every so often he will walk on my back again but never so extreme as the beginning. he will be 5 in May. is a very long boy. Big boy.he is one of most spoiled cats out there. very strong personality. very smart, it's like he understands everything we are saying.I had a stroke in September. And even before that he is giving me a better quality of life.I look forward to getting to know everyones cats. as you see very camera shy. Lol I think it's sick of Mama taking pictures

Gizmo is gorgeous.  Welcome to TCS!  The story of his rescue and how he helped your back pain is fascinating.
