Kitty Kitty's kittens are 3 weeks old! They are climbing out of their box, and today when I got home from work they and their mom had moved from the spare bedroom closet to under my bed in my bedroom, so I moved their new soft bed into my room. Still nursing all the time, and Kitty Kitty stays and babysits them even when they are sleeping. She is an awesome mom! Thought I'd post an update.

What a wonderful little cat family. Your mama cat is so sweet looking. Her babies are just too cute. I hope nobody asks me to pick the prettiest one. I love them all.

Kitty Kitty's kittens were 4 weeks old yesterday! They are playing non-stop and squeal when she reaches out to nab one with her paw for a good washing! She moved them by the scruff from the spare bedroom into my bedroom this past week. So now I hear kittens playing and nursing during the night, and Kitty Kitty likes to lie on my bed looking over the side at them. She constantly jumps down to mother them. They are having a blast exploring the little world of my bedroom! Will try to get individual pictures of each soon. Just an update.

They are adorable! Don't you just love watching them grow and interact with each other? And I agree they are so eager to explore everything now. It's an awesome experience!

They are doing great! So active and curious at this age! I love every moment I get to spend with them and will be sad when they go to their forever homes. Are yours using the litter box yet? Mine are just starting to. With six kittens and only two accidents on the floor so far they are doing great.

I just introduced mine to wet food yesterday. I wouldn't say they are truly eating it yet, but I expect they will soon. I plan to set up their kitten litter box tonight & hope they begin to use it soon too. I'll have to keep you posted on that! Sounds like yours are getting the hang of it nicely. Yes, it is great fun & I too will be sad to part with any of them. At what age do you plan to give them away @beautifuleyes?

I'm not sure but probably around 10-12 wks old. They will all be fixed and get their shots first. Most are going to homes where I will still be able to see them regularly but I will still miss them. They are growing so fast!

Kitty Kitty with Prissy. The kittens are 5 weeks old today!

Kitty Kitty with Pumpkin. He's quite a character!

This is Mittens, the cute and busy little runt. Very affectionate!

And this is Sissy, the firstborn and biggest, taking a nap.

All 4 are healthy and into everything. All 4 are using the litter box, and 2 are eating solids like crazy.

Life is good! :) :) :) :)

Isn't such a joy just to watch them play? I never knew raising kittens could be so fulfilling. Mine were 5 weeks Wednesday and are so active and curious. Like yours my runt, who I call little beauty is so affectionate. I think she will be the hardest to give away.

Pumpkin is Kitty Kitty's favorite of her litter, though she is attentive to all. She has spent the most time playing with him and disciplining him, and he is quite well-mannered these days as a result! He was the most unruly and forward of the four originally, but now remains playful but sweet and loving and using only soft paws at all times. He loves his mama and can be found lying next to her or draped across her body during naps and rest periods.

Kitty Kitty has taught Pumpkin to hunt, and he "catches" play mice and bats them around, and carries them proudly to mama in his mouth. She watches him approvingly and lovingly. He eats the most of the four, but is not the biggest.

When I am preparing their meals, Kitty Kitty likes to sit nearby, front legs perfectly together, head looking up at me, and giving sweet little meows. Pumpkin began copying her about a week ago, and it melts my heart when this little kitten meows in his little kitten voice alongside his mama!

The brood will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. I'll post updates and photos of the other three as time permits. :)
