i found new born kitten in near my house , he is still attached to the placenta , how can i remove it? will it not contaminate? or will it fall by it self?

I'm no expert in kitten care, but here a few ideas...

1. Provide it with a warm bed - use blankets in a box. If you live in an area that is still cold, I would also provide a spaced heater, or place the bed near a heater.

2. I would get some kitten milk replacement asap! It'll need to be bottle fed multiple times a day.

3. Bring it to a vet to get it checked out!

That's all I can offer....hopefully some others will chime in with some other advice. Good luck, keep us updated!

Any pictures?!

The milk you got, is it for babies, or kittens? There is a huge difference between the 2 milks. Cats are lactose intolerant, and cannot digest cows milk like humans can.

Wow, he is so young!! Weird how you found him alone. Is there any sign of mom cat anywhere?

I would get some milk into that kitty asap, as well as a small heating pad. You can buy disposable heating hand warmers at drug stores which last for hours.

Is there a pet store near you? He really needs kitten milk.

The placenta really worries me. Found this on-line:

"Blood flowing through the umbilical cord is bluish in color and is fairly obvious. Soon after the kitten is born, the blood should stop flowing through the placenta and the umbilical cord will turn white. At this point you can simply cut the umbilical cord about 1.5 inches from the kitten's belly and throw away the placenta.

If the placenta really grosses you out and you want to remove it sooner, tie the umbilical cord with the thread or dental floss about 1.5 inches from the kitten's belly. Then, using your thumb and forefinger, pinch and rub the cord until it breaks (this helps cut off the flow of blood).

Cutting the umbilical cord and removing the placenta should only be done when the kitten is breathing or mewing regularly and is in stable condition."

Kittens cannot keep their body warm. The blankets in your picture protect from drafts but provide no warmth.

To keep the kitten warm - fill a tube sock with rice - not packed full / tight but loosely full. Heat in microwave in short bursts until it feels quite warm. Should be comfortable to hold in your hand against the inside of your wrist, not painfully hot. Wrap in a thin kitchen towel and place next to kitten with towel draped over the box. This will stay warm for a surprisingly long time.

Or fill a small soda bottle with hot water. Screw lid on tight. Wrap in a thin towel and place next to kitten. Again, it should feel comfortable warm against the skin on the inside of your wrist. Will cool off sooner than rice.

You must cut the placenta away immediately!

Use string or I prefer dental floss, about an inch from baby's body tie it around and tight, then cut.

Baby needs a heat source, while you are looking for something grab baby and put in your underarm if a man and between your breasts if woman.

ASAP!!

Hypothermia will take this baby down fast!

Do these and we will be here when you finish this.

Do NOT try to feed until fully warm, this will kill baby too.

You will know when he is the right temp as body and limbs will feel neutral to your body, not cool at all.

KMR is ideal, and it does have a bit of lactose too, so if it is for newly born babies it should be fine.

Get that placenta cut now and get baby up to your temp.

Yes, this baby replacement milk isnt too bad, if you dont find anything else, it should work.

Kitten mother replacement milk, is what you seek. This made by PetAg, commonly called for KMR  (its so on the label too), in POWDER, is the best of them.

Otherwise, goat milk is OK too.  Raw / fresh is best, but bottled is OK.   Sometimes its easier to find goat milk than a good kmr.

Looks like a little girl tortie!
Yes, and also, fairly well done, no premature.

If you have access to a scale, preferably measuring in grammes, take her weigh.  It makes easier for you to follow the development.

But your prio is of course to find suitable food...  Send somewhere after to hunt after a scale.
