Me and my husband have recently taken in a beautiful stray. We live in Montana and found her two weeks ago covered in snow and meowing at our door we had to take her in as the temps for the next few days were going to be -30 and me and my husband could never leave an animal out in that deadly cold. No tags, no collar, in fact it doesnt look like she has even worn a collar before. We are not sure what kind of cat she is, i think she has a little bengal in her, she is very vocal and growls meows chirps and makes other interesting sounds. She has increased in her need for attention, and seems to be getting bigger. I have never owned a cat before and am not sure if she might be pregnant. She still plays alot, and as i said is very affectionate. Anyone who might have some ideas as to how to tell, and what I should do would be greatly appreciated.

Her nipples, what color do they have? Around 3 weeks it'll change from normal to bright red/pink, which can indicate a pregnancy. around 5 weeks she'll start to show and as you are already seeing something, assuming it's not her gaining weight of the sudden good food, her nipples should already have been changed color. Around 7 weeks you should start seeing and feeling  the kittens move inside of her.

If you want to be absolutely sure however, going to the vet might be your best option. As she's a stray, I would suggest going to the vet anyway for a check up, and he can instantly check for you whether she's pregnant or not.

Her nipples are bright pink, we first noticed on her food intake. We figured it would be higher in the beginning, because she was a stray. It wasn't as much as we expected. She ate about 3-4 times a day she now eats quite a bit more. I looked up the signs and checked her after i wrote this. I am about 65% sure she is pregnant...not 100%. I am saving up for a vets visit, i just hurt my back and we are surviving on my husbands check. She was an unexpected blessing she is so beautiful and talkative! We named her Gaia.

to the family :D

Yeah, a little beauty.  The head is very nice and sweet too.  TAbby and tortie, often called for torbie.

So, torbie with white.  Or tabby and tortie with white.

I agree with your description as an unexpected blessing.   Like a precious gift send to you from Above.

Good luck!
