I am so proud of her. Not only did she do a great job giving birth to her own babies but now she is also caring for another baby.

That's absolutely wonderful. You should be very proud of the whole family. What a lucky kitten. Will you keep all of them?

I am only keeping one but have already found homes for three others. So that only leaves 2 that still need homes. I do have three other people who have expressed interest in adopting a kitten but have not committed yet. So maybe I won't have enough kittens. They will all be fixed and have shots before going to their forever homes. Sox is getting spayed too once the kittens are weaned.

Which kitten will you keep and will you keep mummy too?

The adopted kitty is one of the 2 waiting for homes. However I still keep having people text me to say they want one. I am just waiting for confirmed commitment. I'm sure that when they are ready all will have good forever homes. I will be sad to see them go but I can't keep them all.

Does your daughter live with you? If not don't you want a kitten and mum?

My daughter doesn't live with me but since she is not allowed to have pets her kitten will live with me and she will come visit and play with her kitten.

Kittens are 3 weeks old today. They are getting to be so active! I just love watching them grow and explore! It was a chore to get them all in one picture this morning!!

Here's a good way to get a picture, put them in a tall box and take the picture looking down on them, get their attention so they are all looking up, it works great!

They are adorable! My four will be 3 weeks old on Sunday. They are already trying to climb out of their box. Are you litter training yet? I'm not sure how all that works yet!

No I haven't started litter training yet. I'm not sure how that works or when to start either. This is my first time having kittens so I'm kinda learning as I go. I would love to see a picture of your precious little babies.

Mum usually helps with the litter box training. You'll need a wider, flatter litter box to start with so the kittens can climb in and out easily.  Clumping litter isn't a good idea at this stage because the kittens sometimes try to eat it, you can get a non-clumping litter that's specifically for kittens. If they have any accidents just clean up and put the wet tissues in the litter box so they can smell where they're supposed to go.

Sox seems to be a natural at this, I'm sure she'll guide them in.
