follow your vet's instructions. how many mg/ml? there are about 20 drops of water per ml. but that varies according to the solution. follow your vet's instructions. 

If you're not sure, then you probably need to call the vet back and ask. Most droppers intended for animals have measurements on them of 1mL and 0.5mL. Your vet should have either told you how many drops OR what measurement on the dropper to go by. It doesn't make sense that they would tell you just the mg dosage with liquid medicine, because to figure out the correct amount, you would need to know detmut asked, the #milligrams to #milliliters in order to make a calculation that will tell you what you need to know. That's why most vets will just say how many drops or how many mL.
