Hi, my cat likes to eat grapes. I dont try to feed them to her, she steals them from me when im trying to eat them. Haha. Its so odd, and she does not do it with other food except yogurt. I dont want her to eat them, but she has gotten a few away from me before. Haha. Does anyone else have a cat that eats weird things?

I would keep grapes away from them or eat them in a different room: http://www.petmd.com/cat/emergency/poisoning-toxicity/e_ct_human_food_poisoning

Lots of reports of kidney damage in dogs from grapes, and there has been a lot of suggestion that it could have similar effects on cats.

Mo will lick almost anything off our fingers if we offer it to him. He's good though since he tends to beg before he steals. The other day a friend's dad came back from Vietnam and she brought some durian cakes to share. I brought mine home and the cats were both super intrigued, Mo definitely wanted a taste. I didn't let them have any though; unless it's specified as safe or species appropriate, I try not to feed it.

Kismet likes to eat plastic bags, but that's a pica thing. They're all hidden away now.

A lot of people food are harmful, even toxic, to cats. It may not take very much of a food to cause a cat to become ill. Here is a list: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/people-foods-avoid-feeding-your-pets Plaese keep these food items away from your cat.

My Aby eats dust bunnies and other non-food items
I have to constantly make sure that my place is Aby-proof.

My Pushy will try just about anything. He'll eat olives, peas, whatever might get dropped on the floor. He will beg first, sometimes grabbing my hand and pulling it towards his face. We don't let him actually eat anything except licking empty yogurt pottles. We have to watch that both cats don't lick the leftover oil in the pan after cooking. We have to hide the pans now.

My dad shares his ice cream with Frodo (just a little left in bowl). Purdy loves crunchy things that come in bags. She grabs your hand and brings crackers, chips, or popcorn to her mouth! [emoji]128576[/emoji][emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️
