Just bought myself a slow cooker and need help with some recipe ideas - I've never used one before!

I usually buy the larger family packs of skinless chicken breasts and pork chops, so any recipes using those as the main ingredient earn extra points!

I'm a big fan of onion, paprika and garlic flavours, but all recipes are welcome.

Thanks!

I never use "recipes" per se.  I just kind of throw stuff in together that makes sense to me from a flavor profile.

The one thing I'd suggest tho, is to brown meat first on the stove top.  While it isn't completely necessary, I've personally found the results to be much better.

I'm in the market for a new one and I think the next one will have an insert that goes from burner to pot so I don't have to wash one more thing!

I did make a fantastic split pea soup recently.  I had a big ham bone leftover from dinner, and put that into the pot with homemade stock, a package of split peas, some carrots, onions, etc.  Left it on low for 8 hours or so.  Probably the best I'd ever had - even my BF loved it and he's not big on that type of soup.
