I know this is my first post on this forum but I really need your help.

I was walking down the street 3 hours ago and I hear a cat meowing and crying.

And what do I see?

This idiot who kept hitting the cat again and again without any kind of remorse. The first thing that comes into my mind is to help this poor cat so I stop him then he tried to hit me without success.

Finally I've called the police.

He said that the cat kept making noise and he couldn't sleep.

Now the police has him in custody.

The thing is that this poor kitty eye is bleeding (probably infected) and she can lose it if not treated.

I am at the vet right now where some guy I know works there but unfortunately the cat needs daily antibiotics that costs 25$ (normally the full price is 50$ but he said that he can give me a discount)

Sadly I'm late for my rent and I don't even have a single dollar in my pocket and I really really want to help this cat, maybe make him my pet (I always wanted a cat).

He said that if I can prove that I have 25$ (100 RON in my country's currency) on my Paypal account he will borrow me the money and take take good care of the cat.

For now the cat is sleeping at the vet but she needs antibiotics injected every day.

I am from Romania and here animal rights are not as good as in USA but somehow (there aren't any laws for hurting a cat) the police arrested the guy that injured the cat.

If you can't send him all the money, any little amount is welcome.

If you want to help, give me a PM and I will send you the PayPal Address.

Thanks!

Update: She is okay for now.

Sadly she'll need antibiotics every day for a week.

Bobitz, thank you for trying to help this cat.

Could you set up a gofundme account for her? Even after the antibiotics she'll need food, a place to live and probably other kinds of medical care such as spay surgery. You'll get more luck with a gofunme account in her name rather than asking people to PM you and then send money through Paypal.

I have shared your account on my facebook page.

I have lots of caring, wonderful cat loving friends.

One question, you said she twice and he twice, is this a boy or a girl cat?

Yeah, I kind of noticed that mistake but it's too late for edit.

It's a he.

He's a boy.

No, thank you.

I already raised half the money I need in a single day and that is thank to you cat lovers. I will make sure that I will do the same in the future for other cats in need.

I have several people wanting to help this cat get medical care, but are asking for the vet's name/contact info to send money to?

Can we have that?

Thank you for your donations, I have reached 30$ in donations and this will do for cat's health expenses until my monthly paycheck on 20 arrives.

30$ will cover his antibiotics and food.

I will close the fundraiser first thing tomorrow morning.

Thank you guys, you really helped this cat and his future human.

Also I will keep you up to date on his condition and upload probably some photos when her eye will be completely healed.

God Bless You!

The last 2 donations were from a couple people who only donated $5.00 each, due to unable to verify, but at least it helps.

No need to close out the funding acct yet, you will probably get more donated.

The first donation is from a kind member from here!

The thing is that the I need the money fast, that was the whole reason.

The withdrawal will probably take one day so I'll use the money in 2 days.

So I'm okay with 30$, there's no need to be greedy.

And yes, I know that the first donation is from Norachan, I've already thanked him in private.

I just received a phone call from the vet, he said that the cat expects a full recovery.

Thank you guys, I can't thank you enough for allowing me to have this beautiful cat as my pet!

I will close this fundraiser since the 50$ goal has been reached.

Check this thread for updates on his condition.

I'm really glad to hear that he's going to recover. The fund raising went really well! You were lucky to raise the amount so quickly. You'll need to put a little money aside to get him neutered once he has recovered from his injuries, but it looks like you'll have some left over after paying for his antibiotics to give you a head start.

Keep us updated, I'm looking forward to hearing more about him.

Does he have a name yet?

Bob, love it.

I see my friend and fellow cat lover Alina Pawson donated $50.00, yay!

Not sure how much neutering him costs there but you might have enough already!

You do know how very important neutering him is don't you?

There's no doubt that he will be neutered. Don't worry.

Thank you so much for all you have done for this boy. You are his guardian angel

I haven't been in here much in a day or two but thanks so much to everyone who donated to the precious boy.

It's stories like that that make me proud to be a part of such a loving, caring community.
