Pusscat shaking when outside

Our Sparky has been inside she she was first at the cats protection mid December and since she has been with us. A few times we have tried to let her out in the corridor of our flat but she runs back in the flat. Yesterday was a beautiful day so we took get out on a leash and she seemed to love it. But still doesn't like the corridor. Today we went again but within 5 minutes she was shaking like a leaf. It was colder but i wouldn't say cold. we brought her back in. Now she seems ok and is just asking for food like normal (she's overweight). Why do you think she was shaking? Was she nervous? Perhaps she doesn't like going outside?

When I first starting training my cat on a harness and leash, she was super nervous to go outside. She walked low to the ground, and at the smallest sound, she would come running back to the house. It took a couple of weeks, of small outings, to make her comfortable outside. She now loves being outside for her walks! Loud cars still startle her, but she doesn't dash back to the house anymore.

I would suggest you keep the walks short and brief to build up her confidence! Once you notice she's not as nervous, you can keep her out longer. Good luck!
