My almost 14 year old cat has asthma and last night and just now had what I thought were asthma attacks but afterwards his breathing was loud for about 15 minutes. Today he was close enough that when  he coughed snot came out of his nose which doesn't normally happen during an asthma episode. I told the vet about what happened last night ( before this latest episode ) and she didn't seem super concerned and said to bring him in tomorrow or Sat if he still had issues. So I don't know if this can wait or if I should take him to the emergency vet.

Note, this breathing subsides after about 15 minutes, and within a half hour is back to normal. This is the second time in less than a day he's had this problem.

I put the phone by his mouth which is why the video is useless. Just turn up the volume and you can hear what I'm talking about... sorry for background nose my 6 year old  nephew is playing a video game.
