Prayers for my SIL

Hi, everyone;

Since the prayers and good vibes that come from this board are so strong, I thought I would ask for some for my sister-in-law.

Her father is losing his fight with cancer. On Friday, his nurse said the family should be called in. He is at home because there is no longer anything they can really do for him except to control the pain. Nobody really knows how long he still has, but his family is there with him now.

My SIL has been very active in taking care of him for over 2 years while he has been fighting this, and it has been terribly hard on her, especially in the last few months. I am asking for prayers of comfort for her and her family in this difficult time.

(My SIL is not a member of the board, but she is mommy to two wonderful cats, Tigger and the beautiful Isabelle, whose picture is posted on this thread.)

i can just imagine what she is going through, i will say aprayer for her and the family...

I just wanted to say 'thanks' to everyone for their prayers. My sister-in-law's father passed away peacefully this afternoon. It is sad, but at last he is no longer in pain.
