I have one sister, Denise. She's 21, just about to graduate university. She just found out this week that she got into teacher's college and will start that in September. She works a part time retail job, mostly during the summer but does one shift a month during the school year, although I assume that she will be done there when she starts teacher's college since it's 3 hours away.

I'm the oldest of 4 kids.

It goes me (female), my sister who is 2 years younger than I am, then a brother who is 6 years younger and last, "baby" sister of is 10-1/2 younger than I am.

There was also a set of twins inbetween the youngest and my brother but sadly, they were premature and didn't make it.

Interestingly, my BF is also the oldest, and both of our siblings are the same ages exact opposite sexes.

I'm leaving off names because that seems to be giving out a bit too much info.

Hey I have one of those too!  Mostly because he's goofy; not necessarily immature.
He and one of the nephews are super close because he's a big kid!

By blood I am an only child.  By marriage I have 4 step-siblings all 3 months to 6 years younger. They all have the same initial.  One is a personal trainer with a degree in journalism from a prestigious university (because that's just how life works sometimes
),  one is a hair stylist and waitress (single mom), one is a medic military officer, one is in the reserves and does some kind of welding work for them and to be honest I don't know what her "regular" job is.  She has a cosmetology license but was also taking classes to become an esthetician at one point.   None of them live in the area and I only see one of them a couple times a year.  It's been years since I've seen the boys.

I used to have 2 other step-brothers but our parents divorced 15 years ago.  We keep in touch somewhat though.  One is a photographer and the other does some kind of jewelry sales.  I don't know his title. They are 3 months and 2 years younger than me.  We were just preschoolers when our parent's married and the divorce was my senior year of high school; so we shared a lot of our childhood.  It makes them still feel like family to a degree.

I have a younger sister and brother; he is the "baby" of the family. Honestly, he's a goof and we all love him dearly. He would have made a great comedian as he can do one-liners and tell stories all day long. He's always making us laugh. When he was younger (middle school), he didn't "apply himself" in school and he was getting some really bad grades. Thinking back, we think now he had ADD. Anyway, about a month or so before report cards came out, the parents would receive notices in the mail if the child wasn't doing well. He knew when our parents were going to get a notice, so he'd call me, so I could get up to the mail box at home to get the notice. That way, Mom and Dad wouldn't see it. When his teacher wanted a parent-teacher conference, I was the one who went to school with him as our parents worked and wouldn't have gone. He was about 13 so I would have been 17. I was already married and had graduated. But I went with him because he was failing social studies. His teacher and I got it worked out and I went home every night to make sure he did his homework. When he had to do papers, I did them. His teachers couldn't understand how he could write good papers, but do so badly in school.
I dearly love my brother and would do anything for him. My brother and I still make dates to go out for lunch, just the two of us, so that we can be together. We've done that for years. He's a sweetie. He recently had to go on disability. After having both knees replaced and surgery on his back and neck, there's just no way he can work right now.

My sister and I are more challenged, I guess. I love her and as we've gotten older, we realize that we are important to each other, even though we don't agree on much at all, other than our love for cats. And wine. I cook, she gardens. I read; she thinks reading is a complete waste of time. She's truly a good person; we just don't have much in common. But on summer nights, we try to get together at least once a week to sit by the pool with a nice bottle of wine and just zone together. And when I really need somebody, she's right there. She is a curriculum director at a local school. She is also working on getting her doctorate.

I turned 60 my sister will be 58 this year, and my brother will be 56. When I'm even, we're all even. When I'm odd, we're all odd. Or as Dear Richard likes to say, the three of us are odd all the time!

I have a 48 year old half-sister, Tiffany. She's married (25 yrs now), 2 kids (19 and 16). She lives in PA and drives a school bus part time, and is very active in auto racing (her husband is a driver, and my niece is Ms. Bridgeport Speedway).

I also have a 25 year old younger brother, Jack. He is a customer service supervisor at Sam's Club and lives in North Carolina with my parents.

I'm my dad's middle kid and my mom's oldest, at 28. (As you can tell, my dad is also a lot older than my mom :lol3: )
