Hi there,
I currently reside in Colorado. I have 5 year old twins. I have an 18 year old who is making me a very early grandmother.
But, most importantly have 3 cats. I have "Muse" she is a sphinx, 1 persian named "Lola" and finally the new addition of about 2 days "Mellow" who is a Balinese.
"Mellow" came to us from a Pet Store who helps our local humane society. So, she was really adopted through the Humane Society of Pikes Peak here in Colorado. She is gorgeous and has quickly become my favorite. I know, I know you shouldn't have favorites but I can't help it. Her persoanlity matches mine. The other 2 cats have nothing to do with me. They adore my husband.
She came to us named "Roxy". I didn't like the name for her so I changed it to "Mellow".
So, far in 2 days we have had major bumps in the road.
She has an URI. She won't use the litter box unless she is locked up in the bathroom with it.
So any help with that would be appreciated. Below you can see Mellow.
