Good Morning. 

What's the story behind your avatar picture?

I know a lot of us have a picture of a favourite cat, but some of those avatar pictures are a little more obscure.

Yes, @nurseangel  I think you have some explaining to do.

My avatar picture is Gin kun, which means silver boy. (Hard G as in gun, not soft as in the drink gin.)

I have other cats, some would say prettier cats than Gin, but I love his battle scarred old face. He's lost a lot of teeth which gives him that endearing sneer. Another reason I like this picture is because Gin kun is one of my success stories. Not all the feral cats I tried to help made it. Some of them preferred being feral and couldn't be turned into house cats. Gin kun is one of the few older feral cats that could.

There isn't one; with just one cat there's no need to choose to showcase one over any others. I do have a collection of seasonal avatars, so they get switched fairly often.

My avatar is our site Secret Santa exchange mascot!  

Considering it's almost March; I should probably change it. 

Mine is just a sweet photo of both Cocoa and Casper together looking out our back sliding door. It was early on in their relationship, and one of the first times they were comfortably sitting with each other, relaxed and sharing an experience. I edited it to black and white because I was more interested in their positions than focusing on their colors (tortie and bi-color orange/white).

I have others now where they are together but, I'm lazy about changing it.

Mine is of Cassie. She does not mind it when I give her a face lift. I snapped the photo and it just made me laugh

This was my facebook avitar several years ago.  

My youngest had been at a local School Board meeting, being recognized for attending Districts.  The 100 or so kids that are in the highest orchestra can audition for All-State, she didn't make that one that year.  

It's a local restaurant located on the Intercoastal Waterway.  We all ate outside, it was a warm pretty evening.  I thought the sun setting on the water was so pretty.  

Don't want to change it, it's a nice early summer shot and we all need the warm temps right now

I used to be very active in TNR - cat rescue.  Then I was very involved in bichon rescue -- I was with a breed specific rescue, bichon frise, mixes, and bonded pairs where one was a bichon.  At one point in time, for 2 years, I had 11 cats and 5 bichons.  FULL HOUSE!  So, when I discovered this image online, I just knew it was for me!

My avatar is a Despicable Me minion because they're just so darned cute and mischievous even though you can't understand their babble and I loved both Despicable Me movies I'm looking forward to see the Minion Movie that's coming out in the summer  

I normally chop and change between my babies but thought I would have a change.
I chose a beautiful snow leopard cub. :heart3: They are such beautiful majestic creatures and endangered too, so sad.

Mine is just a shot of Angel the first time I bought him a peacock feather to play with. Then I think he stopped to look up at something on tv, & I got a great shot!     

Mine is my son. No sorry behind it, I just love that picture even though it's 4 months old now.
