Pinkish area near anus

Hi my cat appears to have some sort of small pinkish/reddish inflamed area on her behind relatively close to her anus. She is behaving, eating and drinking normally but she is licking the area, although not more so than any other spot. She's using the litterbox as usual as well. Do you think it's urgent? What do you think it is?

She could be slightly constipated and/or her anal glands need expressing.
What is her poop like?

I actually managed to show my vet the photo and she told me it looked like an anal abscess that has already ruptured so I rushed my cat into the 24 hour vet hospital and she was given antibiotics and pain meds. The strange thing is her poop seemed normal as did her behavior both before and after the rupture. I'm assuming it only ruptured yesterday as I'm sure I would have noticed. She gave no indication of pain or that anything was wrong so I'm not really sure how it happened or why. Nor am I sure how to watch for signs of it recurring. Any suggestions?
