Juniper is about 6-7 months old now and she seems very healthy. The problem is she has bouts of super smelly gas. She was dewormed twice before I adopted her and once with me a few weeks ago. Tested negative for worms 3 weeks ago. She was given Covenia and VetriScience Lysine tabs 2 weeks ago for a cold. She's still on the Lysine and also gets 1/8 tsp vet supplied
probiotics because she's had gas since I've had her.
She eats about a 3 oz can of Nature's Variety rabbit and about 1/4 c. of Royal Canin GI formula a day. I feed her this because my Siamese mix eats it and I want to get them on the same food.
Anyway, she's a food HOUND and I was even warned from the rescue how crazy she is. She wolfs her food like there's no tomorrow but is getting better. I don't give her much kibble at once because she'll throw up otherwise.
Any ideas on why she's so stinky? Every time I lift her, when she's relaxed or even plays, she farts. Sometimes I hear it which makes me laugh but I'm still worried. I've talked to the vet and that's when he gave me the probiotics but it's been weeks already.
Also her tummy gurgles a lot. Any advice?
