Hi Diva, you need to bring kitty to the vet. It might be nothing, or it could be fluid buildup , an access or yes even Cancer. Cats are notorious for masking their pain, so best to have the vet take a look. Hugs and best wishes.

I second the need for a vet visit. The sooner the better.

I'm so sorry to hear about your previous cat. I can certainly understand your hesitation. Ask around to find a good vet in your area.

Because there are so many possibilities and such little time to diagnose and successfully treat some things, it's imperative that she sees a vet as soon as possible. I don't know the circumstances behind your last vet visit and whether or not it was a complex condition, or if there was some mishandling, but I'm very wary of seeing new vets so I always check these sources for reviews:

Please let us know how it goes!

gosh I know your pain...I was a WRECK when dealing with Minnie's diagnosis and initial treatment ...I couldn't eat and went to bed early just so I wouldn't have to deal with it! It wa HORRIBLE as it was such a shocker to us. I finally got a grip on myself and counted on my faith and just released it... and was a peace from there on out... it's so sad because we have to do what's best for our babies...but that is the WORST for us! (hugs)

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that diagnosis! I am glad you're both able to continue enjoying your time together regardless - don't focus on the amount of time, but make the best of every second you spend together.

Gosh, maybe it's time to help her along.. surely she is dying if she is behaving like this... I would not allow mine to suffer especially when you know it will not get better
