Hi Lukey,

He's a clever boy. My cats all worry me by trying to walk near the stove when I'm cooking. Cubby must be more sensitive to warmth than they are.

They can seem to tell when the oven is too hot. I don't think they've got burned yet. :)

My brother once had a cat who had the unfortunate habit of literally burning his azz on the gas burners. We'd (we were teens) have say, water for pasta going, and sure enough somebody would notice the smell of burning hiney...[emoji]128556[/emoji]

Once we had to bring him to the vet cuz he literally burned his butt. Then he acted like it didn't hurt...weird. Cats literally are the oddest creatures!! [emoji]128540[/emoji]

A couple of my cats have singed their whiskers off by jumping up next to the stove and going "Oh, what's cooking?" and sticking their faces to close to the gas ring. You think they'd notice how hot is was, but they didn't.......
