Hello to all! Happy Tuesday ~

What names of endearment did your parents/grandparents/gaurdians etc call you as a child?

To my parents I was "Pumpkin" and "Cupcake"

(My mom still calls me those!)

To my grandmother, I was "Baby Owl".

I never had any nicknames growing up.  It wasn't until I got to college and met a whole new group of people that others started using endearing names for me.

The only one I recall as a kid, is my grandmother calling me Shayna Maidel, which basically means "pretty girl" in Yiddish.  But she used that for all the female grandchildren :D

I never had one, except 'Doy' a combination of my sister's name and mine, when they got flustered and couldn't get my name out! I call my daughter Pen Sue, always have, her name is Penny Sue (surprise, surprise!) but she says I'm the only one to call her that.

My dad called me T, T-Bone, and T-Boneski
My grandma would call me T-Bird on occasion.

My mom calls me Shell-shell, but she says it in Chinese so the pronunciation comes out "sieou-sieou". One of my aunts calls me the same thing. Things sound cuter with reptition. My uncle calls me, hrm... "meek-meek-ge-syu-syu". It doesn't make any sense written out, but he just cut the first half of Michelle to Mic, but meek sounds cuter, and then ge = the, and "syu" sounds similar to small/little. Syu is repeated, again, to sound cuter.

It's not your typical term of endearment, but my brothers are 11 and 12 years older than me and the eldest would always call me dude. 'Cause I was their little girl dude.

My parents didn't have a nickname for me, and I never had grandparents. My friends in high school and college give me nicknames, though. My husband calls me sweetie or darling.

"Mina".  My name is Marianne, but it would come out as "Mina" when I was trying to say my name as a baby.  Sometimes was called "min" or "men", for short!

Hey You- whatever your name is. There was 5 of us. It was easier for mom that way. She couldn't call us by the wrong name. I don't recall having a nickname though.

My Gram called me "my darling girl."  Mostly she called me by my name; but in conjunction with that.  My Dad called me Tiger.  I got Annie-bananie from my mother. I can't think of any other.

My MIL actually calls me sweet peal but I was 19 when I first met her; so technically not a child.

No nicknames from my family. Everybody just called me Pam. When my mother was really peeved at me, she called me Pamela Sue. And I knew then I was in big trouble; it was just a matter of finding out what I had done.

At work, they call me Pammy. I don't know why, but everybody has always done so. It doesn't bother me.
