I have been going back and forth with my cat. He eats food than stops, eats one brand and kind then doesn't want it. I'm trying to be consistent with grain free but it's super hard when he wont eat.
Currently have blue buffalo wilderness but lately he doesn't want the duck. He doesn't eat turkey or beef. I am at my wits end. He will eat fancy feast gravy which isn't good for him. What luck have you had with grain free? He also won't eat the vet ibd food

Fortunately I have never had a cat with IBD, but from reading various sites, it seems that a raw diet often solves many problems. I have purchased Rad Cat, and so far, until I can start making my own, I feel that it is a very superb brand. It is sold frozen. My 5  cats  absolutely loved it. Today I was reading their site, and feel the turkey might be the best. My cats loved the turkey, but also enjoyed the lamb. I briefly looked at the ingredients of the Blue Buffalo on the Chewy pet food site ( I always check out that site because they list ingredients under the foods that I want to check out) That food, the Blue Buffalo turkey has gar gum, potatoes. carrageenan. It is really hard to find foods without the gums, but that other stuff is really unnecessary, and could possibly be upsetting your cats digestive system.

Your cat sounds just like my IBD kitty. If I just feed her one kind of food, she usually stops liking it about the time that I decide to order a case of it. I have tried several different foods until I have found a few that she consistently likes (and keeps down) and then keep rotating them, so that she gets something different at each feeding and is less likely to get burned out on the same thing.

I'm not sure if there is one particular brand that is the "best," but for me, I have found some success with some of the Pride by Instinct varieties, especially the Lucky's Lamb and Rockstar Rabbit. She also really likes most of the Halo Spot's Stew varieties, especially the lamb. Some people don't like to feed Halo because of all of the vegetables, but it has worked for me. None of the above foods have grains or carageenan. The lamb foods do contain beef, but because lamb is the main ingredient, they might work.

Good luck!

He doesn't eat turkey. I think you read that wrong but thank you.

I will try the pride next time I go to the store
The reason I do give him the blue is because he eats it, or did until this week. He was eating wellness for so long then stopped. Thanks
