Hi I have a cat that showed up as a stray, she is a barn cat now and an excellent one! A few weeks ago we noticed she looked big, we have had one other that that we rescued who was pregnant. She was inside though and we had an idea on how far along she was etc. but the fact that she is outside we aren't sure how far along she is. Once we realized she was pregnant we brought her inside and gave her a box with towels in it. Her stomach is quite large, and we can majorly feel the babies move inside her. She is eating and drinking like a pig. She lets us touch her belly with no issues. Today when I went to check on her I found her in my closet laying there. Her nipples don't have milk coming out yet but are pink. Any ideas on when we should expect kittens? Also, please no lectures about spaying. Thanks guys [emoji]128512[/emoji]

Just went to check on her again. Noticed a tiny bit of something gooey on the fur around her private area. There is just a tiny bit. What is it and what does it mean?

As you feel them move, its maximum 2 weeks left.  If she allows you to rub her belly, do so.  It helps her, I think.

As you apparently do know the most about spaying because you dont want lectures, I wont even mention it.  No no.

Anyways, there are cheap spaying clinics.  They are probably also ready to do some standard treatments cheaper than the usual fashionable vet clinics.

Quite a few farmers and stable owners, have a cooperation with their big animal vets, who are doing minor treatmenst on their cats, when the vet is anyways out to their farm / stable.

As  tips for free!

That was probably her mucus plug going.  Meaning the delivery nears, is probably quite near  - although we still dont know the exact day nor hour.

Im sending some links - but please, come with reports and further questions!

Good luck!

Thank you. We plan on getting her spayed after this with our vet. Checked this morning. No kittens. But... There is milk coming out now. She is still eating and drinking. Nothing coming out yet.
