Cat nibbling me?

I didn't have Shanoah around as a kitten and I can imagine a kitten nibbling you being cute but she's 2 years old now and it's getting irritating.

The only time she does it is in the morning when I wake up and laying in bed.  She jumps up, I start petting her, she grabs my arm with her front paws (no claws) and just starts nibbling on it.  Even if I don't pet her she nibbles anyway.  Sometimes I find myself rolling around in bed dodging her or I just put my arms under the covers to try and stop her.  Sometimes that doesn't work because she starts nibbling on my hair.  This morning I let her nibble and then after a while she stopped and relaxed.  Even when I get out of bed she tries to nibble my toes or legs.

I 'm pretty sure this is a sign of her trying to get my attention, love, or trying to murder me
.  But it is getting annoying.  Any suggestions or tips to stop this?

If you want her to really stop, you should be consistent about it. When she even starts, you hiss, say no and ignore her. In time, she will understand that her nibbling is an unacceptable behavior. But remember never deviate or you'll end up with a very confused kitty who will not take you seriously.

Loves you.  Just this morning Sadie woke me with pattyface.  That's when she comes up by my face and, with claws retracted, pats my face with her paws.  She loves me.  Or maybe just telling me it's time to get out of bed?

I know it can be exasperating but then again it makes me smile.  I'd would much rather have that than one who wants nothing to do me.  When you gain the love and the trust of a cat what a wondrous thing.

I would reserve hissing for bad behavior. I just feel terrible hissing ("you're making me angry!") at a cat who is lovebiting ("I luv you").

Well most of the time it's happening really early in the morning at like 5-7, meaning she wakes me up and I have a hard time going back to sleep.

I normally get up at 6 am and they usually respect that.  More or less.

Mingle does that to me too, I feel like that's her way of waking me up. She always leaves little teeth marks on my arm and even though it doesn't hurt a lot I do get irritated sometimes (only because I just wake up)

Yeah that's what I was thinking.  Usually when I get downstairs to the kitchen in the morning, I feed her right away.  She knows that so she wakes me up in the morning.

We have a couple cats that do that. But mostly I think just how they show affection. Except Tj.,he's a good boy but he bites hard. Even brings blood. I am not so sure what tj means by it but i like that to stop because I am not sure its good. They other two its does hurt. Once i had a kitten he come in in tge morning it was play but it hurt.he get my daughters toes. So I put soap on her feet. I told her wait. He bite her. But it did not taste good to him. He tried it a few times after that but got soap. He stoped . I guess seems mean. But he stopped. Hope it was not. He didn't get sick.but he quit biting her.

.My cat bites me really hard. He bite me in face. Do not know why he does that but i have to keep him out of my face.i wish i knew why he does it and how to get him to stop.
