Hi!

I am going to the vet tomorrow to do a fecal on my cats. I was wondering, if i could empty out the litter box late tonight and collect whatever poop is there early in the morning? I wanted to avoid putting it in the fridge as im living with other people and dont want to freak them out. lol

My home is pretty cold since the AC is constantly running.

Just want to know how fresh a sample has to be to be taken in.

I've never put a sample in the fridge. Did your vet suggest that?

The fresher the better. What I normally do is get a sample the night before and then if she goes again before we go to the vet, I use that one instead. I don't know what your cat's schedule is, but would she be guaranteed to go during the night?
