Ok, I am a day late. It was actually yesterday. :lol3:

So let's talk wine. Do you drink it? Do you like it? What kinds?

When I started drinking wine many, many years ago :lol3: , I would drink white zinfandel or something just as sweet. Now I really don't' like sweet wines. I can deal with a slightly sweeter white wine on a really hot summer day, but my usual white is a Chardonnay. I usually only drink white in the summer and red in the winter. I prefer heavier bodied reds - Malbec, Cabernet, etc.

I like a sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio in white, or a cabernet sauvignon or syrah in red.  But I'm not a regular wine drinker--I usually have some when we go out to dinner or have people over for dinner.

National drink wine day? What, just the one day? :lol3: That's something I could happily celebrate everyday! And beer appreciation day too. :beerpals:
I like red in the winter more and white in summer. My fave whites are the sweeter ones, muscato and zinfandel, or a fruity flavourful NZ savignon blanc.
Reds I'm a bit cheap and cheerful, preferring the mix cab sav/merlot or meritage. Something fairly uncomplex.

I drink wine quite often and I also like white zinfadel but lately I prefer sangria.  I like it straight or as a wine cooler.  The only problem with drinking wine is that it makes me very warm so when I feel a chill at night, it warms me up.

I will participate tonight after the kids are in bed.  I was saving this bottle of red; but time to start drinking it.  It's big; it'll last me a while because I'm the only one who drinks it around here.

I'm totally clueless about wine types.  I know I prefer sweet; but don't ask me what things are called.  I buy what I usually drink when I'm visiting family in Upstate New York.  I don't drink that much of it; so I try to buy a few bottles of each flavor I like and that lasts me a good while.

There's a whole day for drinking wine? What a fantastic idea.

I like South American wines. Mr Husband says that if ever I gave up drinking the economy of Chile would probably collapse.

I like white wine in the summer, can't beat a nice chilled glass of Chardonnay. I drink red wines in the winter, got two bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon in at the moment. They make wine in this area but Japanese wines aren't that good, just too sweet and fruity for my taste. I do like their sake though......

 Cheers!
