Hello everyone, I rescue cats in my house we have 5 and two dogs. Recently, New Years a beautiful cat was out front my house for weeks . I would put food out for her everyday I seen her out their. New Year's Eve she was crying and it was bitterly cold. So I took her in, and thought she was pregnant seeig she has a little belly on her for being very skinny. Now it is February and she is producing colostrum from her nips they are very PINK . And she's huge . I will post pictures . If anyone can help it would be great. My main question is how long after she produces colostrum will she deliver. (She has been producing for about 4/5 days now) and I feel the babies kick.

None of the "signs" are very reliable.  The lest non reliable is how long you had felt them kittens move.     You can feel them about two weeks before delivery, some tell they felt them almost three weeks before...

Im sending some of our usual links.

But you are welcome to ask further questions, and to update / report!

Good luck!

Most of these links have been readied by our forumist  Red Top Rescue:

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links regarding birth, delivery and newborns for you here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

Fleece or flannel good to use in the bedding for kittens.

Most cats seek for hiden places, like a nest few days before due date. Is she behaving like this? She may become more restless than usual too and her apetite may decrease a little bit.
Good luck!

Yes she has torn up a box compleatly that i have down their. But I also have a big blanket for her with her food and water next to it. The litter box is by my door. I will post a picture of the box she tore up. She has a large padded bed for when she delivers . And I have her in a room where it's quiet and dark. She sleeps a lot.

Yes she does this . And sleeps very much. I feel she is due any day now. She looks at me and meows a lot. Sleeps on me every night. And lays on her side never her belly (now that it's larger) in the beggining when I had her she layed on it

StefanZ posted some great links about this subject. I have jumped into them when my cat got pregnant and I've learned a lot!
