CATNIP  try catnip toys or spray catnip on the feather  will take time
I tried what you suggested Rayd.  I sprayed the feathers and dangled in front of her.  She didn't react.  So I let it hang right above her, and I checked back, she had fallen asleep. LOL.  I think catnip chills her to the point of sleeping.

You might try a bit of dried catnip sprinkled on a towel or mat.

Are you spending time with her?  Even if you just sit in the room and talk with her.  I wouldn't worry so much about playing with her.  You can leave some toys out and she might get interested in them on her own.  For now just concentrate on getting her to adjust to you.  Play will come later.

I try to spend 2 hours with her. One in the morning, and one in the evening.  But I think I had a breakthrough.  She wasn't in her carrier hiding tonight.  She was by the crunchy sound making tunnel.   I came in and got on my chest and was about 3 feet away, face to face.  She didn't move and was just resting there on the towel.  Anyways, I was there having a conversation with her.  While I talked, she would blink or close her eyes to rest.  She never did that before.  She used to keep an eye on me.  When I stopped talking, she opened her eyes to peek if I'm still there, then I start talking again and she closed her eyes to rest.  I think that is progress, right?

Yes!! Thank you!.   Now for her to survive the move to a smaller place.  But this time instead of her own private room, she'll be sharing it with me.  Or I may buy one of those cat cage condos to keep her in.

Update:  2 steps forward 10 steps back.

Yuki was able to rest with her back against me, however, I tried to pet her gently and she did one of those silent hisses at me. =(

I also notice that she smells extremely bad and the fur color in her tail area is very yellow instead of white.  She's using the litter boxes, I think it's because she's never been bathed since she was born.

Don't worry about not being able to pet her yet.  It will come.  Just continue to move slowly with her.

Do you see any loose stool when you are cleaning the litter box.  The yellow sounds like stool to me.

Cats generally do not need to be bathed since they usually clean themselves very well.  Yet, if she has diarrhea she may need to be wiped.  I would be very cautious about this now as it could really break her trust.  Just check to see if she is having loose stool.

When she was to the vet, did they do a stool sample or give you some deworming meds?

Her stool is solid. She was given 2 types of dewormers. I think one of them is called revolution and the other one is profender. I just have to keep in mind that she's not like my other cats I have owned where they meet you when i come home and hop onto you at night to sleep. Lol

I think Revolution is for fleas and Profender for worms.

Does she smell really bad like poop bad or does she smell of something else?

She has this really musty/musky smell With a hint of urine. I'll spray her with Frebreeze. Lol. I'm kidding. I don't think anyone has ever done rhat to their animals. Thats like abuse.

I wonder if it could be what they used to clean her when she had her spay.  It might have tinged her fur.  Once you can pet/handle her you can take a warm wash cloth to it, but for now if it doesn't get worse, I would leave it alone.

Looking at the picture in detail..It seems she's grown and gotten plumper in her 3 weeks since I've caught her.
