I mentioned in another post that we had had a power surge last week and it kicked the heating registers in the living room to high gear. The room was way too warm and the registers were very hot to the touch. Well, I worry about things like that; fire is something that just scares me to death. We'd never be able to find all the cats quickly, esp Amber, if we had to.
Well, we were almost to my work this morning and I remembered that I wanted to remove the pillow in the bay window in the living room before we left (just in case we got another surge). It's a huge pillow one of my GFs made for the window so that the cats would be comfy when lying there. But when they tussle, the pillow falls to the floor sometimes and we've come home from work and found it right on the register. As hot as it was the other day, we could have had a fire. Since Rick brought me into work this morning, I was going to ask my co-worker to please take me home at lunch, so I could take the pillow out of the window. I'd be fretting about it all morning until I got back home.
Just got a text from Rick: "Don't worry. I went home and took care of the pillow. Just now got to work."
He knew. He knew I'd have that in the back of mind all morning. And that's another reason why I love him. He understands.
